Today we’re talking with Stan Gibson. Stan is a Corporate Executive turned Author, Entrepreneur, Speaker, and Success Coach. He’s passionate about People-Centric Leadership and helping seasoned and emerging leaders pivot and elevate to new levels! His passion for leadership inspired his best selling book Living a Rich and Intentional Life. He’s an avid researcher regarding the neuro and physiological science and helping leaders create abundant energy through better sleep, nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, productivity, routine, and healthy relationships!  Most importantly, Stan is married to his best friend and wife of 40 years (and they met in 3rd grade!).  Let’s get to this!

MORE ABOUT Coach Darrell Mudra:

Darrell E. Mudra was an American football coach and his nickname was "Dr. Victory."

He served as the head football coach at:

Adams State College (1959–1962),

North Dakota State University (1963–1965)

University of Arizona (1967–1968)

Western Illinois University (1969–1973)

Florida State University (1974–1975)

Eastern Illinois University (1978–1982),

and the University of Northern Iowa (1983–1987)

His career college football record of 200–81–4.

And since I attended the University of Northern Iowa, I will share a little of his story from UNI.

Seeking to turn around another struggling program, Mudra resigned from Eastern Illinois in December 1982 to accept the head coaching position with the University of Northern Iowa.  They had finished their previous season with a 4–6–1 record. BUT under Mudra, the Panthers went on to win the Gateway Football Conference in their 1985 and 1987 seasons.

Get THIS!: He led the Panthers to the NCAA Division I-AA semifinals TWICE!

Mudra was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2000.

I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU:

How about YOU!?  What stood out to you from this conversation? Drop a comment and let me know!

And PLEASE share this powerful episode with someone who YOU think would appreciate it and/or might be needing it… right now!  They’ll thank you!

Know I’m rooting for you!

Mitch
