In this episode of the DREAM. THINK. DO. podcast, Mitch Matthews talks with Marc Guberti, a highly accomplished 19 year old who excels at staying focused and being uber productive. Some of his accomplishments include having over 300,000 Twitter followers, helping business owners around the world dominate their space on the web, authoring 18 books, interviewing big names for his Breakthrough Success podcast, being a D1 athlete in cross-country and track and field, and being featured in Huffington Post and Success magazine. One of the keys to his early success is his ability to recognize and conquer his limiting beliefs. Listen To The Podcast: How often is it that we hear about someone getting slapped upside the head with their dream job or career?   It’s usually a bit more subtle and requires us to pursue opportunities as opposed to just having them fall into our lap. It’s easy to see people who have accomplished a lot and think that their success came easy. Most of the time, that’s far from the truth. Even someone as young as Marc Guberti, my guest on this episode of DREAM THINK DO, has had to fight and overcome challenges to reach this kind of early success. And for Marc, one of the things holding him back from reaching his dreams at the beginning was his limiting beliefs. He felt like…he was too young. Too inexperienced. People wouldn’t listen to him. He would be judged more harshly when he made mistakes. However, Marc found a way to conquer these limiting beliefs and that has been a significant key to his success. Listen to this episode to find out the specific strategy he uses to overcome limiting beliefs. And if you take away only this one strategy from this episode and use it, you’ll start seeing results immediately in your own life. In this episode, you will… Learn how to blast past your limiting beliefs and get results Hear how these 2 things will help you to optimize your day and be more productive Gain insight into how to leverage time in your day, even if it’s only 15 minutes Learn about the importance of relationships to grow your social media presence   Episode Resources: Productivity Virtual Summit MarcGuberti.com MitchMatthews.com/141 DREAM. In this episode of the DREAM. THINK. DO. podcast, Mitch Matthews talks with Mara Zepeda, Co-founder and CEO of Switchboard HQ, an engagement platform connecting students and alumni to create success. Mara’s passion project would eventually draw her away from a successful career in journalism, where she had worked for the Boston Globe and NPR, and into the world of entrepreneurship. She tells how she navigated some major life decisions and what the inspiration behind Switchboard. Listen To The Podcast: Have you ever seen a problem and thought… “There has to be a better way to do THAT!” “Why hasn’t somebody created a product for THAT?” “Somebody should invent something to fix THAT?” DREAM THINK DO guest Mara Zepeda had those same questions while she was serving on the alumni board for Reed College. She was an award-winning reporter for NPR, but she saw a need. Reed was looking for better ways to connect alumni with current students.  She started to dig into the problem… like a reporter would.  But as she did… she started to see this issue at other schools too.  So she reached out to a friend and they started to create a solution.   That solution turned into a product.  The product led Mara to start a company.  (She’s now CEO.) Mara Zepeda shares how she navigated all of this and turned her passion project into something more. Maybe your struggle isn’t deciding whether to dive into entrepreneurship...but whatever it is, Mara’s story will inspire you.
